ABOUT
A personal adaptation of the Japanese Samurai helmet, dating back to the late 16th century Momoyama period, on display in the Mitsubishi galleries at the British Museum. The helmet was first sketched & photographed on site and then re-designed & sculpted in 3D. The seemingly endless artifacts on display at the British Museum are an excellent source of inspiration but as a student of both Japanese & Brazilian Jujitsu, this piece was of particular interest to me.
