Presentations Operator

Reporting to:                       Team Leader

Line reports:                        None

Working hours:                   37.5 hour week 00:00-08:00 – Monday to Friday

Williams Lea supports our Client in the delivery of a wide range of Document Services. These include: Presentations, Design, Asset Management, Reprographics, Floor-based Output, Mail and Distribution. Our core focus is in the delivery of high quality corporate information. Our ability to interpret briefs and produce excellent work within the corporate brand, to budget and timescale is especially important in the area of Design.

Overview:

Our core focus is to deliver high quality corporate information. The Presentations Operator will generate high quality presentation material as requested, in a timely manner. Working with and reporting to the Presentations Manager to ensure quality standards are adhered and deadlines are delivered.

Key tasks/skills:

  •    To generate high quality presentation work, using the clients PowerPoint and Word templates
  •    Working with the Presentations Manager to provide regular updates on workflow, deadlines and any potential risks in order to effectively manage and deliver client's requirements
  •    Self managing and team working providing updates on workflow, deadlines and problems so that the client's requirements can be effectively managed
  •    To own and take responsibility for the work e.g. consistency, accuracy and quality
  •    Where necessary, to liase with the client in a professional and helpful manner at all times
  •    To ensure a smooth hand-over of work where applicable
  •    To assist with the induction and development of new or temporary team members
  •    To work closely and collaboratively with regional offices
  •    To follow departmental policies and procedures as required
  •    Undertake any ad hoc duties as requested by line management
  •    To effectively use the management information and tracking system – Symphony

Minimum requirements:

  •    Minimum 40 wpm typing
  •    Up-to-date advanced experience of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel and a strong background in presentation work
  •    Good written English and proofing skills
  •    Possess a critical eye for accuracy and attention to detail
  •    Possess a good understanding of customer service
  •    Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  •    Ability to multitask and prioritise
  •    Display an adaptable and flexible approach
  •    Basic/Intermediate Adobe Photoshop
  •    Basic/Intermediate Adobe Illustrator
