We are currently recruiting for a Digital Developer to join a digital marketing and branding specialist in the Old Street area of Central London. With heritage in more print-based projects (corporate identity, logo/branding design, brochures and annual reports), the agency has recently stepped up its digital offering and now has an exclusively digital arm to its business. The digital team focuses on branding, web design and traffic generation for mainly e-commerce, leisure & hospitality and luxury brand clients. The Developer is required to help lead and develop this team as it grows, with the potential to move into a Head of Digital role.

Because of the potential career progression offered by this role, applicants will require a diverse range of skills and an entrepreneurial spirit. As well as having a strong grasp of PHP, MySQL and CMS including Magento, Joomla & WordPress, the ideal candidate will have knowledge of front-end tech (HTML/CSS), a creative eye and a focus on optimising the user experience for sites that they work on. This is a client-facing role so requires candidates with consultative interpersonal skills and experience of client contact within a similar position. You will be joining a team of 5 permanent staff, bolstered with regular freelancers, who work in a very fluid structure within a relaxed atmosphere at their studio near Old Street. This is a great role for an established, personable Back-end Developer to take the next step in a permanent role which will allow them to develop their existing skills and become an integral, senior member of this growing team.
