An experienced web developer is required to lead the small development team (1 server side developer and 1 front end developer) at a Creative Digital Agency in Old Street/Shoreditch. The agency enjoys working in a diverse range of sectors including Architecture, Charity, Consumer Electronics, Creative Services, Financial, Health, Legal, Media, Recruitment and Retail. 

It's primarily a coding role, but we're looking for someone who is great in front of clients and who can also offer input at a strategic level - both for individual projects and across the business on how technology can help them deliver their objectives in the business plan. 

The agency are developing a fairly broad social platform based around 'digital learning' as well as building the usual one-off sites. They are committed to building everything for desktop, tablet and mobile devices, and have had a small foray into the world of apps.

Essential skills; 

- core skills: PHP, MySQL, Javascript, 

- client contact: really good communication skills

- strategic input: helping us define our technology approach to deliver against our business goals

- leading a small team (or one or two initially!)

- collaborative working (multiple developers working on the same project) 

- content management systems (pref including Joomla)

Temp-to-perm, salary £40K+ dependant on experience
