Senior Designer £35k-£40k London

We're looking for a Senior Designer for a leading international media company. You will be working within the marketing department conceptualising, designing and producing high quality and engaging promotion materials for a range of internal clients. We're looking for a designer who can work equally well in offline and digital media. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering great design solutions, on brief and on deadline.

Key Responsibilities: - Managing, coaching and training one direct report and ensuring that they are allocated the appropriate level and amount of work - Ensuring the smooth running of the marketing services - Working with marketing colleagues to develop offline and digital advertising concepts in response to briefs from internal clients - including the conferences, circulation, advertising and subscription marketing teams - Delivering final artwork to agreed deadlines and specifications, in some cases working with external agencies - Responding promptly to requests for design updates - Liaising weekly with the head of marketing services and the marketing production to plan the ad requirements for the following week - Maintaining and improving the department's design asset/file management systems and updating the daily production schedule

Key Skills: - Extensive experience gained in agency or relevant marketing/design environment - Competent with InDesign, Quark, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat for production and interactive, Flash, Dreamweaver, MS office advanced level - Innovative and keen to experiment with new creative techniques, media and formats - Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines - Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure - Attention to detail, with excellent verbal and written skills - Positive, supportive and enthusiastic - Able to work collaboratively in a team
