Working for a Birmingham city centre based creative and digital agency that deliver innovative creative solutions across all industries – both in the public and private sectors. From start-up businesses, through to blue chip clients and local authorities. You will be working with existing systems as well as helping devise new ways of doing things better. Taking briefs from the studio manager or daily direct client contact you will be expert at juggling a number of projects at once. A strong passion for web development and related emerging technologies is essential, along with being a team player and being confident and constructive with development decisions.

• 3 / 4 years professional commercial development experience
• Thorough understanding of PHP and MySQL based web development
• Front end experience in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery
• Excel in web standards, online accessibility and browser/platform compatibility
• Have experience in open source CMS WordPress
• Understand testing procedures, bug tracking and version control systems
• Ability to take the lead on projects and deliver to deadlines
• Knowledge of design patterns and development methodologies including front-end and back-end usability concepts
• Understand social media applications and relevant API's
• Be familiar with search engine optimisation techniques
• Have an interest in mobile development – HTML5
• Be comfortable using the Adobe suite of programs
