Our client is a leading pubishers with an award winning website providing business news and information.  They are looking for a talented web designer to join their expanding online design team.  Reporting to the head of design you will be responsible for designing compelling digital products.  The successful candidate will have experience designing content – rich products.  

The role is very varied and will involve working across a broad range of digital projects, however they are looking for someone who is keen to champion their mobile products.  You will be creating new and working on existing projects with the Head of Design and other designers.  The role will also involve conceptualising graphics and icons for the mobile products aswell as promotional campaigns and pages for their main site.

The successful candidate will have experience in a digital design role and will ultimately have creative flair, good typographic skills and understanding of design for digital platforms.  You will need some experience designing across mobile platforms.  Ideally you will have technical knowledge of mobile applications both native and HTML based..  You will be completely conversant in Photoshop and illustrator and some XHTML and CSS would be an advantage. 

Working in a team you will be comfortable brainstorming with other creatives as well as taking ownership of your own projects. Somebody that enjoys working in a fast paced media environment would suit this role!
