The Role
Working within the Creative Media Department, the Retoucher will be responsible for core retouching of images for the World store. They will also be required to provide direct retouching and support to Post Production Manager and Senior Retouchers whilst working closely with the Central Design Team on an ad hoc basis.
Key responsibilities

Retouching a wide range of images for Worldstore. Categories include : E-commerce image assets including accessories and ready to wear portraits, Fragrance/Licensing products, Press RTW and Retails projects.

Maintaining digital workflow through server management and distribution using digital asset management system.

Support Post Production Manager and Senior Retouchers in completing projects.

Work with in house stylist and photographer to approve and upload e-commerce imagery with Post Production Manager to upload e-commerce imagery to DMM.

Supporting Junior Retoucher in colour matching/sizing of acc on a day to day basis, creating colour references for core brand patterns plus scaling of new non apparel products for retouching templates.

Looking over the live website for any photographic, retouching or styling errors . Look for discrepancies, source images, fix and update the studio error-log. Supporting Senior Retouchers in re-uploading for the live site.

Basic layout art working for website and other print collateral projects in Creative Media Department.

Develop strong relationships across business, particularly CMD digital team, e-commerce team and press / marketing department.

Qualifications:

Degree in Photography or Graphic Design desirable
Previous Experience:
-
Previous experience in a photography and/or graphic design Studio environment

Advanced knowledge and experience of photoshoot processes and image manipulation software (Indesign and Photoshop) Macintosh computer knowledge essential

Wacom Board/ Pen experience essential

Understanding of photography, light and an eye for detail is essential.

Experience working for a high profile fashion brand- E-commerce experience/working in a fast paced environment, for a luxury brand.

Knowledge and experience of Adobe Creative Suites.
