One of our long standing design consultancy clients are looking for a principal lead designer to join them in their new Farringdon offices. Their clients are mostly global or national blue-chips, servicing them with complex web builds and applications design. Some of their most high profile designs have been trading applications for global investment banks.

Being a consultancy, your role will go well beyond making something look beautiful. You will be expected to enter into the very initial stages of the projects, working closely with their UX team to gather initial requirements and translate these into your designs. Experience engaging with senior stakeholders is preferable for this role. Being consultative in your past roles also means you will have worked on complex digital roles - perhaps including desktop applications (however this is not essential). The role will also involve leading the visual designs across all the projects you work on, so experience in leading and mentoring junior/ middleweight designers is preferable.

Technically you will be comfortable with the full CS5 suite. An understanding of the capabilities of HTML5 and Flex applications is also very preferable.
