We are currently looking for an exceptional Lead Designer to join the design team within a leading social technology company.

The role is both a product design role where you will be working on data visualisation analytics applications that integrate with social media, whilst also working on the design of Facebook, mobile, and tablet applications for a variety of well known clients. You will lead the design of these products across the business with reusability, scalability and code in mind, working and mentoring internal and outsourced development teams to reach your objectives. Further responsibilities will be:

• Champion UX to help design better user-centric products
• Reviewing, optimising, and testing code
• Estimates and plans for client and demonstration projects
• Line management with team members (reviews, objective setting, and coaching)

In your portfolio you will have interface design experience for applications, showing a solid understanding of grid based layouts. You will be a great communicator who can explain your concepts and thinking process to the team. The ideal candidate will also have CMS integration/ development experience and will understand viral mechanics and the possibilities and the possibilities of designing for mobile and social media.
