This is a real "career step-up" opportunity for a digital designer with a couple of years commercial experience (either agency or client side) to join an exciting new start up and leave your mark on their product!
The company are a key player in the emerging video on demand market in the UK. They deliver full-length streaming of movies and TV shows to millions of users via their website and a multitude of other touch-points (TV's, Games consoles, and handheld devices). They're small (not height wise), fun, and driven to create some of the coolest stuff on the web and they want someone just as enthused to join them!
In the role you will be reporting into the head of visual design, being responsible for supporting the team by creating exceptional work for multi-platform devices. You will also be required to support marketing campaigns so some experience with this is ideal.
So, who are you? You are an innovative thinker who can translate concepts and ideas into memorable screen layouts that are consistent with brand guidelines. You will also be able to see where improvements can be made and feel comfortable advising the head of design on these.
Let's get technical. Coming from a design related degree you will be exceptional with Photoshop and Illustrator, with a great working knowledge of Flash for producing marketing material. An understanding of UX design/ IA is required as well as a working knowledge of HTML and CSS to deliver optimized designs/ graphics.
I hope you find this role as interesting as I do. If you think it's got your name all over it then I'd like to know about it
