Junior Graphic Designer

Salary up to £16K to 18K depending on experience

We are looking for a Junior graduate graphic designer to join our busy creative department at Rapiergroup, base in Ware, Herts office.

We are a brand environmental creative agency that covers in the area of exhibition, roadshow, product launches, conferences, showrooms in both B2B and B2C clients.

The job role:

Working within our creative team to design, develop and execute creative concepts in brand communication for exhibitions, events, conferences, web base content and product launches.

Develop and execute creative concepts from consumer, medical,  aeronautical / defenses and automotive sectors.

This is a fantastic role for a graduate Graphic Designer who is looking to start on a long term Career opportunity in the creative industry.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Actively aware of all areas of design across trends, lifestyle and brands
• Understand creative vision of department as directed by Creative Director and Senior Designers
• An ability to think creatively and produce new ideas and concepts.
• Contribute to other team member's workload as directed
• A BA/HND (or equivalent) in graphic design and an outstanding portfolio.
• A knowledge in the packaging and print techniques, HTML, motion graphic, web designs and related technologies is an advantage
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with all other departments
• Good working knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop)
• Mac literate
• Visual skills with an eye for detail.
• Ability to work under pressure on several projects at any one time and meet deadlines.
• A good strong team ethic and willingness to 'pitch in', whenever necessary.
