Design Project Manager

Proud Group comprises of nightclubs/ bars/ restaurants in central London, we are currently seeking a Design Project Manager to join our team.

This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Design Project Manager/Senior Designer. You will have past experience that spans concept, development, design, installation, dressing/art direction and implementation, and with a good working knowledge of AutoCAD and full contacts book.

You’ll be comfortable with the challenge of leading an in-house team, being hands-on and comfortable handling multiple projects at one time. You will be comfortable client facing, working closely with and presenting to them. You will be an excellent communicator, whilst setting the standards for your team.

This full time position is due to commence ASAP.  Ideally in the first week of February.

Salary, circa £30k-£38k, dependant upon experience.

KEY TASKS

• Take briefs from the Creative Director whilst advising her on the best possible style and layout for design work within budget and proposed schedule guidelines
• To art direct projects, setting standards and interpreting briefs
• Project management, pre-empting issues
• To liaise with external suppliers of services, to ensure that work meets exact requirements as specified
• To keep abreast of design developments and to bring new ideas to the department and set and communicate standards
• General support as required to other members of the team

SKILLS

• Expert design skills in Photoshop, Excel and AutoCAD 
• Vectorworks or any 3D programmes will be an advantage
• A basic understanding of architecture
