We never stop thinking of ingenious new ways to make our SEA LIFE attractions more captivating and interactive. Our brief is simple: to entertain, innovate and immerse our visitors in an experience that helps them to engage with, and feel a part of the environment they're exploring. Now we want you to take them even deeper into our underwater world.

About the role

We'll look to you to come up with all-new theming ideas that ramp up the wow factor at our existing sites (there are currently 35 of them across the UK, Europe and the USA) as well as working within a team designing new SEA LIFE attractions in new territories including Australia and Asia. Creativity, interactivity and feasibility will be your watchwords as you lead and manage design development on multiple projects from first brainwave to final installation. And right there at the heart of everything you do, from building brand new attractions and exhibitions to dressing our food & beverage and retail spaces, will be the guest experience.

About you

You've honed your razor-sharp creative mind and all-round design acumen working end-to-end on major design projects, possibly within an exhibition, museum or zoo type setting. And when we say all-round design, we mean it. A PhotoShop, Indesign and Vectorworks (or similar 3D design package) whizz who's equally adept at freehand drawing. You also know all about preparing visual presentations and detailing plans and elevations. As well as being a strong design leader, you're great in a team, gaining buy-in from local teams, coordinating freelancers and getting the best out of third-party specialists. An interest in sea life and aquatics would clearly be an advantage. And you'll be more than happy to travel when your work demands it (with locations like ours, who wouldn't be?).
