Graphic Designer / Brand Champion — Woking

 VerseOne Technologies is looking for a graphic designer to be its in-house brand champion. As part of the marketing team, you will be responsible for owning and developing the company's visual brand identity. We're a small, fast-paced web software company, so if you're entrepreneurial and want to develop your career quickly, this is the place for you.

 You'll work closely with the VerseOne team to create a maintain a full suite of company marketing materials for internal and external communications, including print collateral, brand guidelines, exhibition materials, document templates, and iconography. You'll also liaise with printers to make sure they do a good job on time at a reasonable price. In between producing company collateral, you'll also have the opportunity to develop your web design skills, if that's your thing.

Ultimately, VerseOne's goal is to create a dedicated creative services team to provide design, branding, and other creative services and consultancy to the customer base.

 This role is perfect for you if you have a lot of design ability and want to put it to use in the commercial world, but relish the excitement of working at a growing and profitable small firm and taking part in the genesis of a new design focus for the company.

  Required Skills:

•  Be fluent in Adobe CSS—mainly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
•  Have experience with Macs and PCs, including the MS Office and iWork
•  suites Appreciate the finer points of typography, grid layout, and
•  colour theory (including Pantones, spot colours, and CMYK) Have an eye
•  for detail and perfectionist streak but still deliver projects on time
•  Combine the advantages of a creative brain with the reliability of an
•  organised list-maker Understand the printing process, pre-press check,
•  and print-ready artwork Be comfortable leading the relationship with
•  printers Check copy for mispelings and typoes Have a strong portfolio
•  containing real-world print work at commercial standard
