Our client is a large print manufacturing company who's clients are successful magazine, catalogue and direct mail customers throughout Europe.

They now have an opening for a Weekend Production Scheduling Manager to to plan, schedule and monitor work through the business (including Pre-Press, Press, Finishing and Dispatch) over the weekend shifts (Friday - Monday inclusive), liaising with Shift Managers to ensure the production plan is met. To be successful you MUST have worked within the printing industry. This is managing the production and scheduling of time sensative publications and NOT the managing of people.

You will have overall responsibility for the management of all key accounts and will have regular and accurate reporting to customers with production updates, as required.

They will Plan and schedule work through the Company whilst liaising with Shift Mangers to ensure production targets are achieved, re-organising and planning where applicable to ensure deadlines are met.

The Weekend Manager will ensure customer quality requirements are consistently met, assisting shift Managers to identify and confirm required direct production materials, consumables and other goods and service are available.

Liaising with customers hosting the visits of customers during colour passes. You will be responsible for the Health and Safety of the team and ensure safe working practices. In particular, becoming actively involved in the company's risk assessment programme and managing the relevant controls identified in the process. Promote preventative measures, and lead by personal example at all times.
