Web Developer

This role requires a talented and flexible mid-senior level web developer who has real passion, flair and commitment to developing attractive, functional websites, applications and back end systems.

The ideal candidate will be hungry to work on a varied range of projects across an interesting mix of clients. They will be expected to lead development focussed projects and must be able to deliver under pressure and to tight deadlines and be naturally collaborative.

Based in central London, you will be joining a small studio in an exciting, dynamic digital agency with a growing team of creatives and developers working in a relaxed and professional environment on a range of interesting and challenging projects.

Essential skills
* A demonstrable portfolio of published work for agency clients
* Highly proficient in core LAMP technologies (Linux, Apache, MySQL & PHP)
* Skilled in leading and guiding development projects
* Experience in server management (Apache/WHM/cPanel/SSH)
* Experience with Object Orientated Programming
* Experience developing for popular content management systems and Frameworks such as Expression Engine, Wordpress and CodeIgnitor
* Experience with HTML, CSS & Javascript
* Excellent organisational and planning skills
* Strong communication skills
* Professional appearance and manner
* Excellent command of English language


Advantageous
* Direct experience working in an agency
* Experience with versioning systems (Git/Mercurial/SVN)
* Experience with Codebase & Deploy (from aTech Media)
* Experience with mobile development (Native iOS & Android and/or 'Webapps')
* Working knowledge and experience of different social networking tools and APIs (Twitter / Facebook / YouTube / Google etc)
