Role:

The role of Retoucher is to work alongside the creative director and retouching team to ensure all deadlines are met to a high standard.

KeyResponsibilities:                                                                                                                                                 

• Ability to work fast with high volumes of image production (batching resizing,  cropping, retouching, etc)
• Understanding of the strengths and constraints of digital technologies.
• Ability to support team members and provide inspiration.
• Ensuring all images are copped and labelled as per each client's needs.
• Product retouching – cutting out, labelling, resizing, colour correction and formatting images
• File management of client folders.
• Maintaining continuity with each particular client's images, i.e. always checking current work with previous work sent.
• Following retouching notes provided by photographer & stylist.
• Assist photographer team to set up and put away all equipment and tools used during shooting.
• Meet all targets and deadlines for product retouching.
• Maintain standards of I Heart Studios C. I .S.
• Working with the senior retoucher to advance skills in editorial and advertorial retouching.
• Other duties as assigned.

Admin Responsibilities:

• Maintaining a tidy work environment throughout the day.
• Clear, wash and put away all dishes at the end of each day.
• Web based research based around potential new clients, new technologies and studio based improvements as requested.
• Short errands, pick-ups and deliveries of small items, generally within walking distance of the studio.
• Uploading/downloading images on and off FTP site.
• Other duties as assigned.

Working Hours / Travel:

The position is a full time role.  When working at the studio in SE16 the day starts at 9:30 and finishes at 6:00 pm.
