Senior Brand Designer

Salary: £35k-£45k pro rata Duration: 9-12 month contract covering maternity leave (There is a realistic opportunity that a permanent role may be created either during, or towards the end of this contract) Is Precedent right for you? Working with some of the biggest names in the public, non profit, and private sectors, on a wide range of brand and print projects, you will be involved from pitch through to delivery. Working on a range of brand and print projects, you will also have the opportunity to increase your experience of digital projects. As a senior level branding-led designer, you will be comfortable with print, visual identity (including writing guidelines), possess good mark making skills, have sound artworking knowledge and will be able to oversee junior designers. • creation and development of new brands, implementing existing ones, and lots of ongoing work for our key clients, large and small, in various industry sectors
• understanding the needs and desires of your audience, to ensure engaging, unique, relevant, and consistent design.defining, capturing and documenting customer requirements
• working closely with Project Managers, Consultants and Developers on all aspects of brand and print design, and occasional digital projects
• creating winning pitch designs for new business presentations

What we're looking for

• extensive, proven experience working on brand, print, visual identity, mark-making, and artwork projects
• client-facing, articulate and a great communicator
• a creative approach to solving problems and able to demonstrate a real flair for conceptual creativity
• proven skills in the usual range of Adobe Creative Suite applications
• previous digital design experience is nice to have but not essential
