Senior UX / Interaction Designer – London – Permanent

My client is an award winning rich & personal media consultancy who are seeking a highly innovative Senior Interaction /UX Designer to join their award-winning user experience team. This position will give you the chance to work in a lead position on a diverse range of ground breaking conceptual builds for some of the most influential companies in the country. It is essential that you are an industry leader in rich data visualization, user centred design/IA & UI techniques. You will be expected to hit the ground running developing a deep understanding of each client's requirements & providing an elegant but highly usable digital experience. It goes without saying that you must have experience working in a lead role before, with the ability to work independently without guidance and you must be an expert at – Requirements gathering, usability research, user models, work flow diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, interaction models, visual mock-ups & functional design specifications. You will ideally have a strong visual design background with the capacity to provide excellent sketching, storytelling & story boarding skills. Essential experience –

Deep understanding and vast experience with UX Design and IA – 5 years Requirements gathering Usability testing / research User models, flow diagrams, wireframes & prototypes Must have strong experience of leading projects, working independently without guidance End to end UX lifecycle experience, full usability Critical / strategic thinking Sketching, storytelling & story boarding Client facing, strong presentation skills At present they are involved in the design & development of the worlds most advanced mobile banking applications & one the UK's most prominent online broadcast web / mobile apps. The ideal Senior Interaction / UX Designer will have experience of client facing work within a progressive & creative user experience design team. A portfolio of work would also be very beneficial in securing the clients interest.
