Graphic Designer - Borehamwood - Perm - £25k

This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong Middleweight Graphic Designer to join this thriving marketing leading company based in Borehamwood on a permanent basis. This is an exciting hire for the team as the company is doing exceptionally well, and this role will be key to their continued success. The role is 80% both Print & 20 % Web.

Role

The successful candidate will join a dedicated and friendly team, where you will be responsible for all the creative output, however you will be assisted by a junior. You must have excellent creative skills and be able to pick up a brief from concept stage and take it right through to print ready artwork. Print work could involve brochures, posters, direct mail, corporate comms, exhibition etc. On the web front it could be banners, html emails or elements for the website.

You must be creative and conceptual; confident in working closely with the marketing team, work to tight deadlines, show excellent attention to detail and be able to manage your time well.


Requirements

• Extensive commercial design experience across print & digital design which you will be able to demonstrate within your portfolio
• 360 Design skills - from concept through design and production (print only)
• Excellent conceptual skills and the ability to prepare designs through to print-ready files
• Highly skilled in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop with some knowledge of web design (look and feel)
• A good understanding of web standards and accessibility would be advantageous, as would experience in HTML, Flash, AfterEffects and Premier
• Own transport would be beneficial
