My client, a leading online food and drinks retailer are looking for an Email Design Executive to join their expanding Marketing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and HTML/CSS coding of email campaign activity across the brands. Working with the Email Marketing Manager you will optimise propositions and creative, produce engaging designs in accordance with brand guidelines and target audience and implement dynamic email templates based on industry best practice.

Key tasks/responsibilities include:

• Day-to-day management of the email creative schedule, ensuring all mailings are delivered correctly according to the brief and to schedule.
• Attend email creative briefs and provide feedback and recommendations on brief requirements in order to improve and optimise all email campaigns
• Build relationships with other marketing and creative teams and developed a good understanding of both web and offline creative and campaign activity in order to achieve consistent messaging and creative feel in accordance with brand guidelines
• Manage the email production process from end-to-end: from brief through to design concepts, HTML production and incorporating all amendments accurately in accordance with deadlines
• Working closely with the Email Marketing Manager and external agencies to produce, adapt and improve email templates to support the email optimisation plan.
• Ensure best practice email design, using HTML and CSS build and usability.
• Liaise with marketing and creative teams and agencies in order to optimise photography and imagery in email creative

To be considered for this role, you need the following skills/experience:

• Educated to degree standard or equivalent preferred but not essential depending on experience
• HTML and CSS hand-coding experience
• Good knowledge of Adobe Dreamweaver and CSS
• Good technical knowledge of email design techniques
• Design/Creative skills (image manipulation/email layout/banner production)
• Customer focus ? an ability to design with audience and purpose at front of mind
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask
• Initiative; able to work independently as well as within a team
• Excellent time management skills
