One of our Cliend a leading Advertising Company is looking to recruit a Design Manager to join their expanding Creative Team.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a motivated and proactive designer who can manage the dual requirements of a busy team as well
as contribute outstanding creative design work for the Marketing Department.
The Marketing Design Manager will run a small design team (Headcount of 2) as a department within Marketing and reports to the Group Design Manager.
DUTIES:
The Design Manager will oversee the designer?s workflow and quality assurance. As the department manager you will oversee the schedules and workload of 2 designers: A Web Design Specialist and a Senior Print Designer. Setting quarterly objectives for the team, you are also expected to conduct weekly
meetings and monthly one-to-ones to assess performance.
We are looking for a creative all-rounder with design flair. A candidate that is happy to work across a broad spectrum
of software, from print to motion graphics. You will be involved in all areas of design, including conference production, events and award pitches.
You will be contributing outstanding print design and artwork for the marketing department in a fast paced and commercials environment.
You will be heavily involved in designing PowerPoint and Keynote presentations for sales and marketing product launches.
You will possess strong photo retouching skills.
You will have a 1st rate understanding of corporate branding and be able to develop a strong design strategy on projects.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor Degree in relevant design field or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years experience in Design
Strong portfolio with relevant work examples
Photoshop
InDesign / Quark
Illustrator
PowerPoint
Final Cut Pro
After Effects
Dreamweaver
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Excellent time management and organisation abilities
Great interpersonal communication
Positive and can-do attitude
Able to multitask
