Lead Artist - £50,000 – Warwickshire

An award-winning games developer are currently looking for a Lead Artist to join their busy team based in Warwickshire!

With offices both in the UK and abroad, they have a heritage of over 25 years and work with some superb gaming brand names!

The role will involve supporting the Producer in the technical development of quality products from the initial design to the final commercial mastering.

Key responsibilities of the role will include…

- Leading the day-to-day management of the art team
- Preparing task schedules for the art team and monitoring these as appropriate
- Producing technical specifications based on the design document of each project
- Getting involved in the design process, offering advice from a technical perspective
- Maintaining the art vision and style across any given project

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, managing project planning. They will be competent with platform art and have an excellent understanding of production procedures and software. A competent manager, they will have sound motivational skills and be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.

Ideally this candidate will have a background in Graphic and or Web Design.
