Job Title: UI Developer/ Designer

Reports to: Metro Head of Development

Department: Metro Development

Key purpose of the job: To join Metro’s development team providing leading edge web solutions to aid in the launch and continued management of Metro’s new gaming proposition.

To develop and maintain a consistent user interface across all of the Metro gaming online presence.

Key Responsibilities

• To take business requirements together with to produce functionally elegant user interface solutions.
• To work closely with the rest of the development and testing teams to release consistent and frequent releases of the websites
• To constantly audit and improve the Metro Play online presence.

Skills & Competencies

Skills:

• xHTML & CSS
• Javascript
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

Desirable

• XSLT
• Knowledge of a template language (JSP/PHP/.NET)
• Knowledge of JQuery framework

Useful to have:

• Experience in social network integrations such as Facebook / Twitter / Foursquare
• Experience in working with Content Management Systems
• Experience in HTML5/Mobile website design and development/ CSS3

Other requirements & experience

• Technical / Design related degree
• Experience working in an Agile environment a plus
