Recruitment Advertiser Survey 2009

With the economy showing some signs of recovery in recent months, Creativepool wanted to gauge how recruitment advertisers were feeling about the market and what they thought the future had in store for the industry.

The results of this survey are based on a sample of 120 recruitment advertisers taken in August & September 2009. A detailed breakdown of who took part in the survey can be found towards the back of the study along with some information about Creativepool.

Questions asked in this year's survey included:

  • How long will it be before business picks up from the recession?
  • What will happen to recruitment advertising budgets in the next 3- 5 years?
  • What are the 3 most important factors when selecting media?
  • Which resources do recruitment advertisers use when dealing with types of vacancies they're not familiar with?
