My moonpig homepage redesign is finally live. It’s been in the making for over a year now and is one of the most significant changes the site has seen since it’s launch in 2000.

Part of a site wide responsive project, which came about as vastly increasing mobile users are purchasing from the site. The website just wasn't suited to mobile use, especially with a Flash personalisation tool a key part of the process. The homepage was actually the final page to be made responsive and got extra special treatment from UX and design due to its importance at quickly driving traffic to a gallery where users choose their preferred card/gift. This now means we can concentrate on other key improvements the site desperately needs, like search/filtering and gallery. Whilst along the way updating the new look and feel which this homepage now features.
